Terms – Belle Chic Candles

Please review this important information on the proper usage of your candle.

Trim wick 1/4" before first burn and in between burn times. Not trimming the wick before each burn time may cause the candle jar to soot.
The first time a candle burns it creates or sets a "memory" in the wax. The memory will be the foundation for how the rest of the candle will burn. If the candle is not burned properly and not allowed to burn around the edges the first time (3-4) hours, it will start to "tunnel" each time you burn it. You may need to burn your candle a little longer the first time to ensure the wax melts completely around the edges.
8oz candles burn for 35-45 hours, 9oz to 10oz candles burn for 45-55 hours, 11oz candles burn for 55-70 hours, and 12oz candles burn for 70-85 hours.
Avoid burning the candles for more than 3 - 4 hours at a time. Burning the candle longer than recommended may cause the candle jar to get hot and may also cause the candle jar to soot.
Place the candle jar on a heat resistant surface. We recommend leaving 1/2" to 1/4" wax from the bottom of the jar to avoid the jar getting too hot.
After gently extinguishing your candle, use a tweezers or something heat resistant to center the wick before the wax hardens. After centering the wick, put the lid on the jar to keep dirt or dust from getting on the jar, wax and wick.
If candle jar does soot it can be wiped clean with a soft damp cloth when the flame is extinguished and wax is at room temperature.

The candles are made with a Soy/Paraffin wax blend. This combination is safe and makes for a beautiful candle with a strong scent throw.
Wicks are lead-free and no additives or dyes are used in the making of the candles.
The maximum amount of fragrance is added to each candle. The scent throw will become stronger once the candle is burning and wax pool occurs.
Candles are hand-poured.
